No Rules

It is no secret that life has conditioned humans to stifle their natural behavioral impulses in order to be socially accepted.  It was interesting in rehearsal today to notice that even in play, people still don’t say or do what they really want because they are worried about breaking supposed rules of conduct.  We never said anything about rules, never put any constraints on their actions. But they think, there must be rules! How can there not be? Storybox is totally open ended; it gives people the opportunity to explore aspects of themselves that they feel can’t be expressed in daily life.
